Dental Patient Safety in Sparks

Your Safety Is Our Priority

To Our Valued Patients:

We hope you and your family are safe and in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your care and safety.

We would like to reassure you our infection control protocol has always been and continues to be our top priority when it comes to your care. Our office follows and exceeds infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

For Your Care and Safety:

We wish to minimize any disruption in our long-established relationship, but given the current environment, we do need to refine some of our protocols for your care and safety.
Patient Safety - Pyramid Family Dental

  • For your safety, all appointments will be orchestrated to allow for social distancing between patients.
  • For efficiency, we now have digital forms on our website to be completed prior to your appointment.
  • Prior to your appointment, there will be some required screening questions. We will review these questions with you and temperatures will be taken before your appointment begins.
  • You will also find hand sanitizer available in the office for your ease of use.

We recognize many patients have put their oral health care on the back burner in their concern during the COVID-19 pandemic. The American Dental Association states that as many as 47% of Americans have periodontal disease, which we know is a low-grade chronic inflammation that decreases the body’s immune response. Our focus has always been the oral-systemic health of our patients. Many of you have missed appointments during this time and we are ready to bring you back into the office in a manner that keeps your safety and health our number one priority.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
